If you accept advertising cookies (see Cookie Policy), we also receive information from Google about how you interacted with our ads, so we can measure whether our advertising is working.
We use the information you give us to:
Our legal basis for this is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and subsequently to perform that contract. Where we keep records for accounting purposes, our legal basis is a legal obligation and our legitimate interest in running the business properly.
Where we use Google Ads conversion tracking, our legal basis is your consent, given (or withheld) through the cookie banner on this site. You can withdraw that consent at any time — see the Cookie Policy.
We don't sell your information. We do share it with a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:
Where these providers are based outside the UK, they provide appropriate safeguards for that transfer (such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum or their certification under the UK-US Data Bridge / EU-US Data Privacy Framework). You can read more in Formspree's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
We keep enquiry and job information for as long as we're in contact with you or carrying out work for you, and for up to 6 years afterwards to meet our accounting and legal record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete or anonymise it. If your enquiry doesn't lead to any work, we keep it for a shorter period before deleting it.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@jbbricklayer.co.uk.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
